Congrats to Mohsin and Anum on their recent engagement in Somerset, NJ! 

How Mohsin Proposed: 

He told her he had jury duty so she wouldn’t wonder why he’s not responding while in flight from Florida to New Jersey. He picked up the beautiful custom ring from NYC Diamond District, met up with the photographer at the location, and walked him through his vision. After coordinating with friends and family, everything was set up and she was brought to the site of the proposal. All her friends and some of his were lined up holding signs and roses on a path leading up to him under a gazebo standing in a heart made from roses. The tune of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ filled the air, played by a live violinist with the piano accompaniment through a speaker.

Mohsin tells us that he could not have pulled off his impressive Somerset proposal without the help of his brother, cousins, his friends, her sisters, and her friends.  They obviously love Mohsin and Anum!

Details of their relationship:

The minute I laid eyes on her, something told me this woman was going to be trouble. Not only did she have everything I was looking for in a partner, the spark was strong and I just knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her by my side.

Proposal Location: 

Colonial Park in Somerset, located in Franklin Township, offers a variety of features.  includes scenic frontage on both the historic Delaware and Raritan Canal and the Millstone River. Recreation facilities, prize winning horticultural displays, and pristine natural areas are spaced amid the broad lawns and ponds of this diverse Somerset County Park. 

The Ring: 

Mohsin custom designed the ring picking out the solitaire diamond himself.  He also selected a custom ring mold created and had a jeweler place the diamonds in it.
