San Luis Obispo Proposal At the Beach:

One of the top San Luis Obispo proposal locations is the beach! Having numerous beaches available (all within 20-30 miles of each other) provides countless spots for popping the big question. My favorite beaches are; Shell Beach, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, and Moonstone Beach. Tip: Be sure to check when sunset is going to be and arrange to propose during the last hour of sunlight. You’ll get that golden glow and romantic light during the whole event!

San Luis Obispo Proposal At a Winery:

San Luis Obispo County lends itself to over 200 wineries from San Miguel to Santa Maria. Many are atop of mountains, hills, or surrounded by thousands of acres of vines. Whether during the springtime, filled with plant life, or Fall, with bright red and orange tones, the backdrop will always be picture perfect. Which ones are my favorite wineries? I love Talley Vineyards, Pomar Junction, Halter Ranch, and Biddle Ranch Vineyards.

San Luis Obispo Proposal At a State Park:

SLO County is known for it’s active community. One way we keep active is hiking. You can even hike all ‘7 sisters’ to get fantastic views of the whole city. This is one of our top San Luis proposal locations if you are more the adventurous type! I recommend going on a hike with your favorite person and popping the question at the top. It will be epic! Just be sure to bring along some bubbly and a couple of snacks to complete the proposal! Looking for some nature but not up for breaking a sweat? I love Montana De Oro, Los Osos Sweet Springs, or Monarch Butterfly Grove. Super easy access, amazing scenery, and lots of great photo ops for right after when she says YES!

San Luis Obispo Proposal in an Urban Setting:

Although we are surrounded by nature, some may like a San Luis Obispo proposal location with a more urban feel. Our county has adorable downtown areas that have countless corners to escape! Paso Robles has a park in the center of the city, San Luis Obispo has a creek, and Arroyo Grande has quaint bridges with a stream running through the middle.  Or escape to the top of the parking structure where urban meets wonderful views! Plus, you can have all your friends and family at a nearby restaurant ready to CELEBRATE!!
