Horsethief Canyon or Horseshoe Canyon, Drumheller – Drumheller is one of my favorite places in Alberta which is why it is one of our top . It is home to the badlands where the dinosaurs once roamed and the sheer size and how deserted it is with the most spectacular views and sunsets. This is the place to go if you want a little privacy a couple minute walk or hike and you will feel like it is just the two of you.  Horsethief Canyon or Horseshoe Canyon, Drumheller

Lake Louise, Banff – Lake Louise is one of the most amazing places in Alberta no matter what the season is! In the winter you have the amazing ice castles, skating rinks, stunning mountain views and cute little log cabins. During the summer is has the most amazing blue turquoise waters and honestly no matter which way you turn you will be blown away with the beauty. There is also tons of delish restaurants to eat and places to grab a coffee. These mountain views will not disappoint! Lake Louise, Banff

Moraine Lake, Banff – Moraine lake is a lot like Lake Louise but only open in the summer months and is probably the most beautiful lake I ever laid eyes on. It can get really busy in the summer months but you can always find a quiet spot tucked away and you will have to pick up your jaw off the ground when you see how beautiful it is. It is also worth getting up crazy early to beat the tourists and enjoy the sun coming up and of course one of the most epic places to pop the question! Moraine Lake, Banff

Patricia Lake, Jasper – Patricia Lake is an amazing lake in Jasper Alberta and is much quieter then the lake it is near (Pyramid Lake). It is rocky shores with perfectly calm waters and gorgeous mountain views. They also have canoe rentals nearby and the perfect place to go for a ride. Patricia Lake, Jasper

Pyramid Lake, Jasper – Pyramid Lake is one of the most gorgeous places in the fall with the fall colors of the trees, beautiful water and mountain views. It can tend to be a little busy but so many places around there where it will just feel like the two of you. It is also an awesome resort with the cozy mountain vibes. Pyramid Lake, Jasper

Abasand Hills Lookout Point, Fort McMurray – If you live in Fort McMurray I personally think the Abasand Hills look out point is one of the best Alberta proposal locations particulary at sunset is to die for! Seriously so beautiful and overlooking the river. There is usually nobody around and a small little hike down and I could honestly sit there for hours taking in how beautiful it is. Fort Saskatchewan River, Devon  – Just outside of Edmonton they are beautiful rocky shores all along the North Saskatchewan river and shallow enough to be able to go for a swim or get your toes wet. Pack a picnic basket and head down there with a blanket have a camp fire and enjoy the simple gorgeous view and all that summer has to offer. Fort Saskatchewan River, Devon

Spray Lakes, Canmore – I love spray lakes in Canmore because it offers a huge variety for pictures and spots. You have the beautiful lake, mountains, forest, even just driving down the road is stunning including. There are also some beautiful rock walls that make for an amazing back drop and you are at these spots within seconds of getting out of the car! Spray Lakes, Canmore
