Phoenix proposal ideas and Phoenix proposal locations from our local expert.
Hey, I’m Monica. I balance my passion for couples photography with medical school, and I am currently based in Phoenix, Arizona but travel often. If you are looking for an adventurous western place to propose, Phoenix is it! From the rugged mountaintops, to the beautiful and iconic, cacti there are so many beautiful proposal spots here in Phoenix. I know how daunting a proposal can be, so I wanted to give you some of my location suggestions, to make the process easier!
This one is a favorite Phoenix proposal idea!! It’s a beautiful desert paradise, with hidden pockets that can make the moment a little more intimate. There are plenty of trails offering different varieties of desert landscapes. The Desert Botanical Gardens also hosts some unique events including electric desert (think light show at night in the gardens), and a butterfly exhibit!
Usery Mountain Regional Park is my go to cactus location! It’s a beautiful regional park, with plenty of hiking trails. It also has many secluded areas, if you are looking for a beautiful and intimate Phoenix location to propose.
If you and your love enjoy hiking, I recommend Estrella Mountain Regional Park. This park offers both flat and mountainous landscapes and is covered with saguaro cacti (another PLUS). This park also offers beautiful views.
If cacti are NOT your thing, and prefer a more forestry feel, I highly recommend driving up 2.5 hours to Flagstaff, Arizona! Flagstaff is a beautiful town filled with pine trees. Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club is particularly beautiful. It contains beautiful cabin style buildings, pine tree forests, and mini lakes.
The majority of my couples that visit Arizona, want pictures with the famous saguaro cacti. So I decided to include another favorite park! Cave creek is amazing because it has many secluded areas, shaded picnic areas (when it’s hot), and horses!! So if you’ve ever dreamed of proposing to your love…while riding on a horse…during sunset…THIS is the place for you. Even if you choose not to ride a horse, I bet it’ll still be extremely memorable.
Hey you. I wanted to thank you for staying a while. I would love to connect with you, and help make your proposal incredibly memorable. A memory captured that prompts stories, to all of your friends and family. If you are interested, here are a couple of ways that you can connect with me:
