Sandia Crest is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 10,678 feet above the sea level, located in the Sandia Mountains. It is accessible by Tram or by road also known as Sandia Crest Scenic Byway. If you like the idea of proposing or holding a wedding in a large garden space, the Bio Park Botanic Garden southwest of downtown offers plenty of intimate opportunities away from prying eyes and ears. The garden features nearly two miles of pedestrian walkways that wind around a range of exhibits, including a formal Japanese garden, a heritage farm, a massive dragon sculpture, and a Spanish-Moorish garden. The Spanish-Moorish garden features raised rose beds and the Ceremonial Garden, which is one of the most romantic places you’ll find in Albuquerque.
